Publicity

Each person has the right to use his own name and image for his own commercial gain.  What are your rights and how can you enforce them?  If you want to use someone’s name or image in your advertisements or in another commercial form, how far can you go before you will be infringing upon the rights of others?  What sort of licenses might you need?  What are the different rights involved when your use is newsworthy or in the public interest as opposed to a pure commercial use?

We would be pleased to talk with individuals about protecting their rights against unauthorized uses of names and images.  We can also work with companies to ensure that they are using the names and likenesses of others within the scope of the law or within the scope of a license.
